“great seafood”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

Booked following TripAdvisor reviews - not disappointed. Service attentive but not intrusive. Seafood excellent - wine not over priced which is always a bonus. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Can recommend the scallops and black pudding and the creme brulee was just wonderful

“Great for a quiet intimate meal, not so good for larger groups & kids”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Myself and a group of family and friends booked a table after hearing so many positive reviews. All dishes were well presented, the food was delicious and service was quick and effcient. All in all, there was nothing we could fault.

The only issue is that, due to the size and nature of the restaurant, it's not ideal for larger groups and young children. This is no fault of the restaurant itself, it's a consequence of the intimate surroundings. We'll go back, but only if we can find a babysitter!

“Very nice lunch”
Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

Very nice small restaurant in the west end. We were lucky to get a table in full view of the chef cooking your food . Very interesting to watch. We had the two course set lunch (think it was £14.50 each) I had parsnip soup then hake served on cassoulet, my gf had Thai mussels the the chicken dish. Nice bottle of house white. Bill was £45 (ish) Would definately go back however there are loads of other great places in Glasgow to try.

“5 star all the way”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

Make reservations, even for lunch. Had a 2 course lunch here that was stunning. For a starter we both had cullen skink that was perfection! Then I had Seabass and my hubbie had Pollack with sesame seeds. Both were fabulous. The potatoes and veggies were stunning and served family style. Very excellent service.
