The hotel was excellent, but our car was broken into in the hotel carpark, which really spoilt the weekend. The room was basic but exactly what we expected. Plenty of local places to get something to eat.

Iv got more cushion on the sole of my shoe than the so called mattress on a piece of wood!! Skirting boards all different colours lights hanging from the border rail. An unprotected string of wire to keep the window shut. No kettle furniture that looked like children's cheap tack. I don't understand how people who r not a couple can share these rooms and have privacy to shower! Toilets in a cupboard. No how was your stay when you leave. Knocking on bedroom door. All over terrible place to stay avoid. Iam 26 woke up feeling 86.

My second stay at this hotel, perfect for going to the hydro or secc as just a 10 min walk from both venues. This time I was on the 7th floor near the lifts so a bit of noise from people coming back late but this didn't bother me really as it's a budget city centre hotel so my expectations of silence after 11pm were nil. Rooms have always been very clean and fresh linen/towels provided. Room is basic but functional and fine for a few nights stay.

Room Tip: For a quieter sleep get a room away from the lift area

My stay was ruined by the night porters who walk round the halls all night knocking peoples doors! I found this to be constant all night, they would parole our floor knocking on doors checking to make sure there was no more than 2 people in each room! I found that the night porters actually kept us up all night rather than any noise that could have been heard. I think it is ludachris that they go around checking all rooms as if guests are pupils on a school trip. Will never return to this hotel.

I am sorry that on this occasion that you were disappointed with your stay. I treat all feedback with the utmost seriousness and I am currently investigating this matter.

We do have security on Friday and Saturday nights which they patrol every half to make sure is no noise on the hallways so our guests will enjoy their night sleep.

My fiancé and I stayed here for his birthday, this is the 2nd time we've been and stayed, this time we found the rooms and staff to be just as good, all clean and comfortable. Modern and in a great location, excellt for Alea and all the entertainment. The mattress was a little thin but surprisingly comfortable and I had no back pain!! Had to ask for 2 additional pillows but this was no hassle at all. Fresh towels and nice and warm. For a busy hotel it is very quiet. Had a great nights sleep. Only thing that wasn't practical was there were only 2 sockets in the same place on the other side of the room from the mirrors, not helpful for hair styling. But this place is a wee fav of ours and will defo be returning.

You get what you pay for. It's been said a million times before, and in this case the phrase is particularly suitiable. The hotel is indeed a budget one, and all that comes with it. The coloring and design are mostly terrible. The service is sub-par. The beds are hard and there's no living space. However, as we knew that prior to booking, there's little to no reason for us to complain about it.

Actually, though, the location is really neat. The hotel is situated near the River Clyde, and in the entertainment area The Quay, where you'll find a cinema, a casino, a bowling court and a lot of restaurants like Indian, American, Mexican, Portuguese etc. On top of that, Glasgow's vibrant city centre is just a 15 minute walk or a 10 minute bus-ride away. The staff is friendly - but be beware of noisy weekends.
