Excellent service and good food. I found them friendly and had a great time here. Really everything you want from a restaurant...
Good number of choice in Buffet... not too many like other world buffet.. But enough to make me full.. Love the idea of fresh food... Melon was really nice and sweet..
Waiters was really friendly and talkative...

“Five star a la carte food on buffet”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2013

I was there with my partner on 17th July 2013 and had an amazing time. There was just enough choice available unlike other world buffet where the amount of food cans be both confusing and intimidating. This remarkably well crafted menu gave my partner and I a delightfully delicious dining experience.

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

Turned up at the restaurant with my son at 18.10 (the buffet is advertised from 5pm) and there were no starters available, only soup and salad. Ordered a draught premium lager (which didnt taste right),
When starters eventually did start to come from the kitchen they were in small quantities, and were quickly exhausted by the waiting diners. Spiced onions were good but the popadoms had obviously been made much earlier in the day and were soft, surely popadoms are easy to get right?
The choice of mains was limited too, a buffet with no Tikka Masala ??? although the Tikka Chasni was excellent. My son had pizza, and he thought it was budget frozen cheese and tomato with toppings added in the kitchen.
The desserts available was very poor, wee jellies in disposable tubs or chocolate cake and that was it nothing else, no cream, no ice cream. There was a whole empty serving table next to glass cabinet that the desserts were in, I assume this is used to offer other dessert options, so why was there nothing on it, the pricing is virtually the same at the weekend, why penalise weekday diners?
We left without dessert, neither choc cake or jelly is our thing.

I know that Spice of Life has only been open two weeks but its a Harlequin Restaurant, and there should be no teething problems like this.
To summarise we were very disappointed with each of the courses, it was way too expensive for the quality and selection available.
