Description: India Quay is a trendy, contemporary space amidst the hustle and bustle of Glasgow. A traditional Indian welcome awaits you at India Quay, where you will find a restaurant that triumphantly pairs traditional Indian cuisine with ‘urban chic’.Adjacent to the newly redeveloped Finnieston area, and only a short walking distance of the SECC and Clyde Auditorium, India Quay overlooks the banks of the River Clyde, providing awe-inspiring views of the city’s famous Finnieston Crane, ‘Squinty Bridge’ and new Hydro Arena in the distance.India Quay’s menu is made up of long-established Indian favourites, but we do have a few surprises up our sleeve. Order the delicious Lamb Desi or Cheese, Chilli, and Coriander Naan Bread to see what we mean. The restaurant’s stark black and white interior oozes with understated style, though dashes of flamboyance accentuate the space. It’s the little details that make India Quay’s individuality stand out above the rest.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience in India Quay on Tuesday evening. The food was beautiful and the portions were huge. The staff were all extremely attentive and very friendly. The restaurant itself was immaculate and very stylish. We could not fault our experience and will definitely be returning. Would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

The staff were lovely to my Aunt who was made to feel special on her birthday. A good amount of chat and interest in us and some time left alone to eat and enjoy our meal in peace. Nice music, restaurant a good temperature, food delicious (a big portion - we had to take some home!). Fair price, more expensive than usual but fine for a birthday/special occassion. Not too spicy but aromatic and flavoursome. Would visit again. Special mention to Rizwan, who did an excellent job. I recommend the India Quay.

Staff went out of the way to find us seating on a very busy evening. Even so, there was no push for us to vacate the table. The waiter Sunny, and his colleagues were extremely attentive in ensuring that we received prompt service. The staff were very knowledgeable of the menu and offered advice on dishes that would suit. The restaurant has a modern feel to it and is in a very good location if you are attending a concert at any of the venues on or near Exhibition Way (e.g. SECC). Great if you like to have a view of the Squinty Bridge and/or just people watch. A good selection of dishes and wines at reasonable prices. Management were well aware of what was going on that night. The music selection reflected the artists who were playing that night. There is ample parking nearby.

Food quality unquestionable. From time of arrival until we left we were very well looked after. Sunny, out waiter was very perceptive after starters and asked if we wanted a break before main course. Not rushed as many places do. Will be back.

We have been to this Indian restaurant once before & the service & quality of food was good, however this time it was like a totally different place or new staff. We rang in the afternoon to book a table for 4 people at 9 on a Saturday night, we were old it was full but they could just fit us in at 8, we arrived at 8 & it was half empty & we were the last clients we noticed coming through the door, by 9.30 there was only a few customers left. The service was very sloppy, the food was no better than you would buy in a freezer cabinet in a supermarket. The manager did apologise & blamed the change of staff but by then the night was ruined, it was certainly one of the worst Indian meals we have experienced ...... would we go back - no.
