Description: Release your inner strumpet at the Kama Sutra, a salacious Indian on Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street. A truly tantalising feast for the senses, this intimate candlelit restaurant boasts a menu with titles including 'Saucy Suggestions' and 'Old Flames'. The exotic eastern cuisine includes favourites such as the popular karahi bhoona, and low-calorie curries such as the salmon and prawn masala. The Mixed Thali menu gives set menu options for two, or if you're feeling abnormally audacious, four. Popular for business lunches and parties, the Kama Sutra restaurant attracts both tourists and locals, and has a downstairs function room with DJs and a karaoke machine.

Went out for a nice first date and I'm glad I chose this restaurant, staff were lovely and very accommodating. They made sure we were happy with our food and kept checking to see if we needed anything else. The staff were polite and welcoming and I enjoyed the meal through and through. The restaurant was very clean and had a great christmas feel to it.

My wife and i were visiting and had not booked anything, so we just got down the Sauchiehall street and decided we would chose from there. We were after an Indian, so there was some healthy competition. We made our choice, first of all the look of the restaurant - it does look appealing from the outside. They seemed to have a large and varied menu too.

We were seated quickly and handed our menus, there is a good menu, so much choices in fact that we had to ask for a few more minutes to decide. The drinks arrived and were spot on, as for the food it was as good as we could have hoped for, we both love Indian food and were not disappointed. We would recommend the Kama Sutra and would definitely return.

A friend of ours from Glasgow recommended this restaurant as his favorite Indian place. As it was a short walk up from the Marriott, we thought "why not"? Excellent and personable service, they steered us to the right things to order and made it a very enjoyable meal indeed. The lamb rogan josh (spiced up a little), the Himalayan lamb hotpot and the garlic naan were superb.... The butter chicken was good, but fairly normal. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Yes - this is what is needed, a proper Indian - not some ponsy herb on a banana leaf. Nice atmosphere, busy, even on a Monday night - cracking food. Popodums good, starter excellent and main course very nice. Lots of kingfisher to was it all down - beautiful - just sad I didn't try the Haggis pakora!

Not much to say other than the mixed grill was awesome, decor and service aren't too shabby either. Will definitely revisit.
