Description: The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).

“Excellent value for money”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

I have been several times to the muscle in and Im always impressed with the service and the quality of the food for such good prices. My girlfriend and I had a bucket of muscles each and both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

“Great Oysters as always”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

This and the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar are my two favourite sea food restaurants. The benefit of the Mussel Inn is its only 15 mins from home. The Oysters, Chowder and Prawn starter were excellent. Crusty bread and butter, simple but really enjoyable as was the white wine, a Verdechio (pardon the spelling) just worked so well. Staff are always very hard working and extremely pleasant. Well done.

Fab place for a reasonably priced lunch, loved the mussels and they serve lovely fresh bread whilst you wait for your meal to arrive, rounded off with a nice glass of red Bliss

“Carlsberg Mussels?”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

What a great place this is, dosen't look much from the front, in fact quite ordinary, but nothing could be further from the truth. Great menu, lovely staff and the quality of the Mussels where right up there with the best I've ever had anywhere.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evenving, just a shame we had to dash off to the theatre, would have loved to have stayed a little longer, but will certainly be back.
