“Excellent service and yummy but pricey.”

Very quirky surroundings. Excellent and attentive service without being intrusive, although we did eat early evening. Food portions were not big and you definitely needed a side order which does bump the price of your bill up which is the reason I have not given 5 stars. Really nice for a special treat, would I eat here every weekend, probably not but I would definitely return and recommend.

“Loves it”

I am shocked to see so many poor reviews for UC because I found every part of my lunch here was fantastic. Such a great feeling in the Brasserie, the staff were kind and lovely, the food (venison haggis, neeps and tatties) was delicious. I'd planned to come to UC for Burns Night last year but I didn't get the chance so this was an opportunity I couldn't miss and I wasn't disappointed. I have nothing but nice things to say about UC so I'll stop there...

“A bit fussy but tasty!”

Food was unusual in a good way but service was slow and it is very pricey. Nice interior though. Served popcorn with my steak.
