This hotel, whilst architecturally disappointing for a new-build (the rooms have very narrow windows) is everything you'd expect from a Premier Inn. The regular Premier Inn beds are very usually very comfortable and the beds here are even better. The range of pillows, is good and there is a good variety of TV channels and adequate desk space for a business trip. The TVs at Pacific Quay have been upgraded to 40" screens.

The location is fabulous for SECC and other local attractions such as the tall ship and for strolling along the Clyde to local bars and restaurants. It's also an easy stroll into the heart of the shopping area.

Room Tip: Request a view over the river otherwise you'll get a sliver of window overlooking a car park

Enjoyed a two night stay for an event in SECC . Great location for SECC a covered walkway / bridge from hotel across the river to the SECC in less than 5 minutes - beautiful views overlooking the Clyde and right beside the BBC building - Lovely new hotel, great staff - little bit out of the way from the city centre / west end - taxi approximately £7 to Buchannan Bus Station but perfect for events in SECC

Stayed here recently. Beautiful location and what looked a lovely new hotel.
The first room we were given the door didn't lock so we had to be moves to another room.
This room had beautiful views over the Clyde and to the Hydro and Armadilo. However the music from the Hydro was so loud we could hear every note!! Not good when the base is pounding for hours!
We are in Thyme, the hotel restaurant. The foot was lovely but the service was quite slow. Seemed that the waiting staff were all very new with little experience.
We were having the very reasonably prices Meal Deal. Although I noticed on the menu it was only specific drinks, ie. wine, pints, or fizzy juice. No soft alternative. I asked the waitress if I could have a fresh orange, she said no, I then asked a barman, he said no. I thought this was ridiculous that there was no alternative drinks available. The bar supervisor came over and asked if I would like a fresh orange. I was very grateful of this and thanked him very much.
Slept very well, bed was very comfy and hotel was quiet ( after the music at the Hydro finished!)
We went down for breakfast in the morning to be greeted with water flowing from he ceiling in the dining room!
Overall it was a lovely hotel, just wee things that might have been expected in a newly opened hotel with new staff.
Will recommend and will definitely be back.

Just left this hotel and my stay was ok. Hotel was spotlessly clean (only been open a few weeks) staff were nice but some a wee but unprofessional ( put that down to new staff in a new place and still finding their feet) only complaint I had was a big one , bedrooms very warm and air conditioning goes no lower than 19 degrees which is pretty warm, resulting in a very uncomfortable night with very little sleep. Other thing which I have never experienced in any other hotel was at 11.10am there was a knock at the door asking what time we would be departing , when we had already booked a 12pm checkout, thought this a bit strange. Nice place but if you can't get a decent nights sleep then no point staying so would only return if this was sorted out

As most previous reviewers have noted, a brand new hotel, clean comfortable, with fantastic staff and a handy location just across the river from the SECC and Hydro - as mentioned, it could give a few 4* hotels a run for their money. One major gripe from my part, however, the fact that your room has no windows - the building is hermetically sealed (presumably to make it more energy efficient) so those of you who like a bit of fresh air when you sleep, or to cool down the room before you go to bed, will be disappointed.
