This place looks and sounds great on the internet. The experience for me was unpleasant. Arrived after a long and tiring journey and had I not been made to pay on arrival (clever, eh?) would have left on seeing the rooms. The shabbiest hotel I have stayed in for 40 years. Worn out old furniture and decor. Very dirty windows and curtains. Very sub-standard, even for a budget hotel. Cleanliness should be a given. At breakfast the cook had no frying pan, so scrambled eggs were ordered which arrived sliced (!?!) and accompanied by tinned tomatoes. Ate fast and left before 8am. Groogh!
