“Good Location, Not So Good Facilities”
Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

Stayed here at beginning of March for 2 nights.
Had a 1 bedroom apartment on floor 4
View wasn't great.....back of a Tesco store. But the location was great about 2 minutes walk into the main shopping area.
Bathroom lovely with jacuzzi bath.
Kitchen could do with few more utensils etc heating didn't come on very often, I went to Primark and bought a blanket for the living room.
Bed not comfortable at all, pillows like thin rocks.
Did smell of food in corridor and in apartment nothing some scented candles didn't sort though.
Enjoyed Glasgow but next time it will be a hotel for us!

Had an excellent stay at this hotel. The apartment was very nice and was very clean. We were on the 13th floor and had an excellent view of the city. The only fault with this hotel was the check in and check out time, I thought this was poor.

Just had a wonderful weekend in these apartments, fantastic views over Glasgow from the 13th floor! Apartments bright , airy, warm , comfortable . Security staff friendly and helpful, booked taxis for us and very helpful. Loads of hot water for showers etc, and very comfortable. So central and within walking distance of train station and bus station. Would highly recommend!

Room Tip: Go for a high floor as the views are amazing!

Booked this place for a couple nights shopping trip in the city.
Greeted by a rude security/reception man who layer down the law of what u can't do in there apartment!
The place was not as described in the bedroom there is a big hole in the wall were the door handle has gone thru the wall not even been repaired! We were on the 4th floor with poor view and the decor is shabby needs a good paint.
It all started when we went to go run a bath if we had hot water a jacuzzi bath is no use without water!!!!!! Two nights with no hot water isn't good!the receptionist did try his best but to had no luck! The heating never comes on and the place is cold.
I would not recommend the place at all I am afraid was very disappointed.

Just had two nights in a 2-bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. Arriving at 8pm on day 1, the first thing that hit us was the terribly strong smell of various foods in the corridor emanating from the other apartments which seeped into ours. Once in the apartment we then had to contend with the fact that this was clearly not a none-smoking one! So, first thing the next morning, we went out to buy scented candles and air freshener. On the plus side, the location is not too bad and the beds are comfortable and Craig really does try his best as front of house. On the downside, the view was awful, walls were grubby, rooms very stark and soulless, the floors were scuffed, kitchen surfaces sticky and the plug in the master bathroom would not work properly, so impossible to try out the spa bath. Paid the 5 quid for the daily internet access but then could not get the correct password from the front desk... Overall, the apartment was very tired and in dire need of some TLC.

stayed this weekend with a group of friends celebtrating a 'special' birthday. I stayed previously 3 years ago and was impressed. not this time. everything feels very basic. no cushions, no mirror in the bedroom, no colour in the bedrooms, the fan in the bathroom, was horrendously loud, and no way of switching off. the shower is cheap and didn't work on our leaving day. there was no hot water. there was no welcome pack, nothing of any help. some dirty marks on the blinds, and the grouting in the shower was filthy. Check in was not friendly, and check out was same, no-one asked if everything was ok. Whilst previously I would have recommended Glasgow Lofts, but not any more. They need to pull their socks up and try and get to the standard of Fraser Suites.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on 13th floor, at least you have nice views if nothing else.

Forget what they say about luxury and 5stars. The price is too high for this sticky, untidy apartment. The only good thing was the view. But if you are ok with sticky floor, dirty bad, no wardrobe and the noisy boiler next to your bed, leaking ceiling then go there. In addition it's very difficult to catch hot water from the shower and in the night they switch off the heating system and the apartment becomes freezing. The kitchen is big, equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettler, electric stove and oven, microwave. There are also tv's. The receptionist were all kind and helpful. Roomservice once per 3 days, if you want everyday pay 10 pounds. central location.
