It’s just a square with many statues and birds.
Many people come here when the weather is good. Some people also take lunch here. Or just for meeting friends.
Nothing special. Just few statues (with birds dropping on their heads)

Around the corner from Queens station, under construction, they moved the taxi stand to George square, so we walked thru or met at the square, worth a look around, lots of people even in bad weather.

Open square complete with benches, twelve statues of historic figures, war memorial, pigeons and all the people you'd care to see.
Nice place to relax but still be in the heart of it all

As a meeting place, George Square is beautifully designed and laid out.

Sadly Glasgow Council are overly keen on filing it with tawdry tat fron time to time which means amongst the impressive statues you get all sorts of half baked stands, displays and visitor attractions that lower the tone of what should be a lovely area.

A great pity they can't be a bit more choosy in allowing usage to be better quality
