very clean room, extremely friendly, helpful staff. breakfast was ample and tasty, the evening meal we had was tasty pub grub. would most certainly use this hotel again. this hotel is only ten minutes walk from queen street station and four minutes from george square yet it was very quiet at night.

The location of this Premier Inn is very good, it's not on George Square in the very centre of Glasgow – where the main tourist information is and where many tours leave from - but not far from it. It's walkable from Central / Queen St rail stations if your luggage has wheels.

I wouldn’t be as ok with the stay probably if we’d paid more than £39 each per night, which for a room per person was good value. My two gripes about my room were: the hardest mattress I have ever had to try and sleep on (it appears all the rooms are the same) and if you closed the windows for any length of time, it began to smell like wet dog.

But you don’t stay in a Premier Inn to lounge around the hotel and it was a good base for 3 days of excusrsions in and around Glasgow: the Tenement House, The (Rennie Mackintosh) Hill House at Helensburgh and Loch Lomond & the Trossachs national park, all thoroughly recommended.

There’s a restaurant in the hotel for breakfasts (like all Premier Inns, they appear to offer nothing between a croissant for a couple of quid or full cooked for a tenner but ask for the continental option and you get something in between in content and price) and dinner. Personally I wouldn’t have eaten dinner there but elderly Mum loved it because she didn’t have to go out again at night and likes fish & chips.

The staff were all really helpful and friendly and I think if you don’t have to pay full price and like a firm mattress, this is a perfectly good touring base.

We stayed here for the second time at christmas, having only paid 19 pounds it was cheaper than a taxi home. As previously the room was perfectly clean and spacious. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. Fantastic location in city centre, just a couple of minutes from merchant city and George square. Will definitely return next year.

Have stayed here on numerous occasions and yes it's in the city centre and if you need to sleep with the window open it may get noisy. It is very clean comfortable and the staff are always friendly. Handy for shopping night out and Queen Street staion. Will be staying again soon

Room Tip: Rooms may be quieter at back of hotel

This hotel is handy for the seasonal xmas fayre at George's Square, Great for shopping etc. The hotel in spotless as the rooms, comfy bed and nice pillows. Staff were helpful and polite. We had the meal deal which included breakfast and have no complaints.
This is the second time staying here,The first time we had a room at the rear and currently at the front overlooking the multi storey car park on George Street. I would not recommend having a front bedroom due to all night traffic noise. I complained and received a refund (Invoking their good nigh't's sleep guarantee) Use the hotel but!! "Get a rear room!"

My husband I had a lovely stay. Staff very friendly and helpful
Have been to this hotel before and can say staff are great
As I am confined to wheelchair we use a disabled room which is lovely and spacious
bathroom large and clean with grab rails where they are needed, found bed rather soft
