Thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit, as someone said earlier 'small but perfectly formed'. Would recommend and hope to return especially if we can get another deal.

A return visit to this great little cafe. As with our previous visit the staff, service and food were fantastic. Fresh home cooked food is the order of the day in this family run business. We started with Hummus (amongst the best I've tasted), Falafel (perfectly cooked) and Batata Harra (good and spicy). For mains we had the Chicken Shawarma and the Okra Stew with Lamb both served with Salad and Rice (the chicken also came with a beautiful garlic sauce). Both dishes were beautifully prepared and presented. We skipped the multitude of Lebanese pastries for desert, and finished with Mint tea. All the dishes are very reasonably priced, so eating here is great value.

Since my last visit there has been some redecoration which has improved the look, ambiance and comfort of the cafe. It was a lot busier than before, as it's quite small I'd recommend booking rather than risk not being able to get in.

Visited this cafe for the first time on a Living Social deal. Immediately struck by the fact that this is a rather basic little cafe and not a restuarant. The decor could do with being refreshed and the toilet was poor. There was some background Lebabese music but the place lacked a little bit of atmosphere. Nevertheless the menu was good with a large choice of dishes which offered good value for money. The owners were enthusiastic, helpful and made us very welcome.

Our voucher gave us 4 tapas style dishes, 2 sandwiches plus a glass each of homemade lemonade. The lemonade was awful so we ordered a couple of cans of coke. For our tapas dishes we had hummuss, falafel, dolmades and batata harra which was a Lebanese kind of patatas bravas. This came with a small salad. For the sandwiches we opted for kofta kebab and shawarma chicken. Despite all of this food, we got talked into buying 2 more dishes which were soujouk (spicy Turkish sausages) and mouttabal (aubergine puree). We clearly had enough food but felt obliged (or pressed!!) to buy more. The food was tasty although a wee bit lukewarm and there could have been an element of reheating.

All in all, good food and great, friendly service. But for the toilet, decor and pressure to buy more food we would have rated this cafe excellent.

Went to try this place on a wowcher as it offered something unusual. The food was authentic and delicious. Service was fast although that said the place is small and it was only us and another table. It is a cafe so don't expect a restaurant setting. Place lacked a bit of atmosphere seems a bit bare. Needs to be warmer looking. There was a separate menu choice for wowcher and social vouchers which was fairly limited but still good value. The main menu looks great and reasonably priced. Also if your a veggie plenty for you too. What we got was lovely and authentic, lovely mix of flavours. The staff were very enthusiasts and helpful and interacted with customers and made them welcome. They genuinely feel pride in their business food and home town of Byblos.
Overall we enjoyed what we had and will probably go back to try the main menu. Worth a try if you're wanting something a wee bit different.

I ordered take away from here tonight. I would have to say that the meal was lovely, still hot (even when we live a fair distance from the shop), very healthy options (but also more usual takeaway options) and good value for money! The cheapest takeaway I've had in a very long time.
The service was great. The order was here within 30mins and the delivery man had a smile on his face (very unusual with other takeaways).
We will definitely be going back again!
