Staff were friendly enough but the services are obviously run down. Had a problem with the electricity when we visited and so half of the services were in darkness. Pannini was bland and expensive. Coffee was undrinkable. Toilets adequate. Smashed front doors were not a welcoming sight.

Nice setting, a bit off the road, but very disappointing. Generally run down air about the place. Toilets disgusting (gents). Only way you can get toilets to smell like this is simple - just don't clean them. Food choice poor, prices the usual eye-watering motorway standard, but no worse I suppose than most others in this country.

Only light in the darkness was the service in the cafe. The young girl who served me seemed to take a genuine pleasure in her work, very helpful and cheerful. She deserves better and I hope she finds a better place to work soon. There are other services not too far away, suggest you go there.

These services are well off the M74 and when you get there there is almost nothing.

Shop very poor and restaurant had hardly any sandwiches.

I would run my tank on empty rather than go there again

Travelling from Loch Lomond to Midlands we decided to stop here. So glad we did.Cheap ( for motorway) petrol was a good start and the food was home made and again great value. The costs for a soup. roll and butter and a panini was less than £9.So why not try small operator instead of the large ones and see the difference. It is a little disconcerting to have to go to another slip road to the motorway. Just follow the signs and dont assume!
Thanks to the staff for being friendly.........
