Owner description: This is a great thing to do with the kids or even big kids for that matter. They have classes where you can make chocolate animals/bars etc. Its also a place to have high tea, birthday parties etc. Plus they also make the most wonderful chocolate which they sell.

The value for food was fantastic. The brie cheese and cranberry sandwich is great! Good hummus and inexpensive and great ice cream.VEGAN FRIENDLY! Nice spacious seating, easy to have private conversation, great window views of street, clean and large bathrooms and has WiFi. A MUST IF YOU'RE IN GLASGOW!

Went for lunch with a friend and our 2 kids......took ourselves right to the far reaches of the restaurant so the kids could play without disturbing anyone. Got served quickly and food was decent, however, the sound of our children laughing and having fun (not throwing tantrums or being naughty) was clearly not acceptable.......we were told that people were 'literally leaving' because of the noise. Was made to feel very uncomfortable and totally unwelcome in what I thought was a family orientated restaurant. WILL NOT BE BACK!

Visited the Chocolate factory for afternoon tea today and had a great lunch, the stand consisted of sandwiches, hot fresh scones with jam and clotted cream. The middle tier of the stand had an abundance of chocie delights.
Definitely worth the £10 which I paid on Livingsocial.
The staff were all very friendly and made the experience really relaxed
The menu has lots of nice lunch and breakfast items

Tucked away on the edge of the city centre, the Chocolate Factory serves some of, if not the best coffee in Glasgow. We usually appear on Saturday or Sunday afternoon, when it's quiet, and the combination of newspaper supplements, comfy chairs and easy going staff, make it feel like sitting in a friend's really spacious house. The hot chocolate is great, and they make a mean milkshake - they do it properly, with ice cream, don't you know.

I had taking my kids to the chocolate factory they are 5 and 7. The girl was not good with kids at all. My kids were very excited and a bit hyper and she did not look amused. It was £13 each and the kids were only in the factory 30 mins. But the kids did enjoy it
