“Fantastic coffee bar”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Found this place this morning in the pouring rain. Excellent coffee, fantastic "on the premises" baking, soup and sandwiches. Isle of Mull Cheddar and red onion in toasted soda bread---- to die for. Lumberjack cake brilliant. So good we went back and bought take away baking to take home. Cheerful pleasant staff, very helpful. First port of call next time we are in Glasgow.

“For goodness sakes, take a look at those cakes!”
Reviewed April 16, 2013 via mobile

Great cafe, selling some amazing cakes and baking. All lovely and fresh, the helpful staff also no hesitation in offering assistance describing their wares if you can't quite decide on which beauty to go for, like my wife (I was all about the billionaires shortbread, dee-lish!)
The coffee was also great, lots to choose from again. They also do some amazing looking savoury bits n bobs too, the sourdough sandwiches, black pudding and pork sausage rolls, mighty cous cous and frittatas, it all looked amazing, gutted I only had room for my coffee and cake. The food ingredients and quality are obviously high and with that, the price is also a bit premium, but go on, treat yourself! Only gripe is that it's pretty narrow, with only a small amount of seating, so catering more for takeout if you don't get lucky and snag a place to sit.

“Super coffee”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

Excellent coffee and cake, will make a lunch stop next time i'm in Glasgow. Very handy location just near central station, and beats the chain coffee places on the same street by miles.
