Visited on Saturday 27 April 2013 with my wife.

Popped in around 6.00pm and the place was busy. Met at the bar with friendly staff who quickly took our drinks order and we were shown to a table round the back near the kitchen.

We weren't initially going to eat but after perusing the menu we decided to opt for a couple of small plates. We ordered Bone Marrow with sour dough, rich chips and a veggie bite thing with babaganoush dip. All were lovely, well presented and devoured.

Drink variety was excellent. Cocktail suggestions were vast and the draught beer was excellent with my going for Asahi....then Oranjeboom and then a Sam Adams.

The staff need a special mention her, they were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive or 'fake' in their enthusiasm.

It's not the cheapest place, but with great drinks, great food, great atmosphere and great service you need to expect to pay a little extra.

On our visit we had a great time and it appeared the many groups of people in were enjoying themselves too.

Well worth a visit and we will 100% be back.

We popped in here for some drinks. The chap behind the bar was excellent - he knew his stuff and took pleasure in his craft.

Four great cocktails and a couple of portions of chips set us back £34 which on the surface seems expensive.

On balance though, the time and effort put into the cocktails more than merited their £6+ price tag. The chips weren't great though they were plentiful but for
£3 I'd expect a touch better.

Great for a drink but not going to rush in for food. Nice find though.

We went the Kelvingrove Cafe for a birthday dinner. It's not long opened so no doubt it will develop much more character once it is established. The service was very good and the waitress was very knowledgable about wines and about the menu. The fish tacos were very good but perhaps a little generous for a starter portion. The chicken kiev was very well done. This is a dish that if done badly can be greasy and sick making. However, here it was delicate of flavour and suitable in portion size. Will certainly venture back.

My friend and I stopped over for a quick bite today and I must say the food was mind blowing, four different sliders on a platter. Pork , mackerel, beef and vegetarian. we wolfed them down and ordered four more. Th e fact that mal spence of Blytheswood fame was behind the bar didnt deter me from ordering something off the menu which was awesome. couldnt actually be better...
