“Awesome food.....lovely service!!!...”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

The food in the restaurant is delicious especially chilly paratha and Badam kheer. The service is fabulous making our visit comfortable, good and value for money. I would like to suggest few things, that would add to the outlook of the place, I have noticed the uniform of the waiters of the restaurant of the same category and find it more professional and up-to date, and a tie can make the waiters look smart. Other than that the introduction of more set-meals might prove to be an another attraction for the students in the city.

“not to everyones taste”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

my good lady and i visited this restaurant recently and let me first say that the service was first class, the attension afforded to us was excellent although it was a very quiet time that we visited, the toilets were spotless and the general decor was good, value for money also gets a very good mark.so to the food itself yes it was tasty enough, yes it was obviously freshly cooked, all i can say is that it just lacked that extra spark on the tastebuds that turns a nice meal into a five star dining experience,in closing let me say that others may find this restaurant to be exactly to their taste, but for us it was only slightly better than average.

“Great Food - Outstanding Value”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

Dropped in here as we'd never been before on a rainy Friday evening. The restaurant was very quiet however the attention and service were excellent. For starters we had one of the weird bread doughnut things - a Methu Vidai. Don't let their unusualness put you off they are great - as was the chilli fish (salmon). We both had Kdai for main courses Lamb for my wife and chicken for me. We shared steamed rice and a plain naan great, spicy food. we had a drink each and a mango lassi as well as mango chutney and raita - all for under £40. Very good food and outstanding value.

“great food - loads of vegie options”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

Being a south indian restaurant this place is bursting with veggie options which always makes me smile. Got a lunch time deal of butter paneer with rice, nan bread, popadoms, spicy onions and sweet mango chutney. The portions were big, the food was tasty and the price was great £5-£6. My partner got the tradirtional indian street food starter and to be honest this wasnt nice at all - too much bread based products and just not enough taste (sorry). I can;t judge them on that as it could have been our taste that it just wasn't suitable for.

To sum up: friendly staff, lovely decor - amazing food - great big portions as well (for a lunch tiem deal thats rare!)
