We visit fairly regularly for the buffet, mainly mid week, but this was our first visit since the redecoration, so first time I've left a review. It's Cambuslang, it's behind the County Inn, and a food snob would probably drive past. Don't be put off. The welcome is always warm & friendly and they do recognize regular customers, even if its been a couple of months since your last visit. As usual, as soon as you sit down, poppadums and spiced onions appear, great to get you going. The starters are great and we usually over indulge on the chicken tikka at this point. There are a few more options on the buffet at the weekend compared to mid week and we enjoyed that, must come on weekends more often. A nice range of main course dishes, my favourite is the chicken Chasni. Plenty of desserts to choose from, which my husband loves. At this point, some fruit and ice cream is ideal for me.
There were a couple of parties in but they seem to take this in their stride. The house wine isn't the best, so if I am only having one glass, I usually opt for a cider instead. All in all, we always enjoy our visits here
