“Perfect stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2012

Stayed here for one night to start Christmas shopping. Location superb, and room spotless and really quiet. Most outstanding thing was welcome from staff. Enthusiasm, personal greeting, no wait, offer to keep luggage for us the following day to make life easy.
Hotel is right next to the cinema, 2 minutes from bus station and 5 from train.
Will definitely do this again. Thank you.

Room Tip: We had a room for disabled access. Did not need this but meant huge room and bathroom. Lifts work re...

Great location however there are no parking facilities and West Nile street is quite busy so no where for you to stop outside to off load luggage etc.
Right opposite the main shopping centre, Buchanan galleries which is fantastic especially when walking with littles ones. Plenty to do and see from this location, we took the children to see the lights at George square, 5 minute walk. Great views over the city, staff were superb and went out of their way to make us and the children feel welcome, easy enough to check in with automated facility, the hotel is new so we were seeing everything at it's best, room was clean as you would expect and had a bath which is a must when you have wee one's, the children had a single sized bed each which slid back under the queen sized bed, all of which really comfy and pillows were spot on. no problem with noise, could not hear anybody in adjacnet rooms which was great. occassionally could here bus passes on street below but not loud at all. Breakfast was wonderful with so much choice, our children ate free.
There is a security guard on hand over the weekend, didnt really feel it was necessary however there are a few pubs etc nearby so randoms may wander in on occassion.

This hotel is perfect for families, only downside was the lack of parking/loading area close to hotel, having to cross busy roads with luggage and small children (age 5 and 3) was not the best experience!

Room Tip: all rooms are suitable, the higher you go the better you view will be

This was my first time in Glasgow and as a solo female traveller chose Premier Inn as i know i will feel safe and comfortable and know what to expect..Glasgow central train station is 10 mins away by foot and easy to find..my 11th floor room was large+spacious, comfy bed+plenty of pillows.my window view was of West Nile street and beyond and was a great view at night of the city.My room was quiet except the second night i could hear doors banging closed in the early hours,i'm sure this can be sorted quite easily.overall i enjoyed staying here, staff very friendly, room clean+comfy. i did not eat in hotel so can't comment on meals.Would stay here again as Glasgow has plenty to see+do and the people are so friendly.Great location

Stopped here on a Saturday night and could not fault the stay. As others have said this is a brand new Premier Inn and is right in the city centre next to the shops, train station and bus station. Check in was very quick by using the check in kiosks. Slept right through and did not hear any noise from outside or inside the hotel. Bed very comfy. Had the breakfast in the morning and this was very good. Will certainly stop here again if in Glasgow.

This hotel towers over over Glasgow's main city centre shopping area - look up and you can't miss it. Rather oddly, you have to ascend two floors in the lift to find reception, which features self-service machines - a bit like a supermarket check-out. Never fear, a charming receptionist will be on hand to help you negotiate the technology.

My room was on the 15th floor, with a stunning view along Sauchiehall Street to Glasgow's West End and the hills beyond. I don't know if this room was representative, but it was huge for a modern City centre hotel; with some more furniture it could be easily be called a suite. As it was, the comfortable double bed and single sofa bed looked a bit lost, and the 22 inch television just looked ridiculous. The bathroom too was a fine size with a bath/shower (good) but with soap dispensers instead of toiletries (bad).

I had to leave too early for breakfast in the morning, but my inexpensive evening meal the night before was surprisingly good, with plenty of menu choice and friendly, attentive service.

With well-trained staff, comfortable rooms and a superb location, this hotel has a lot going for it, so why only four stars? Well, while the decor and furnishings are brand new, for me they are so devoid of style as to be depressingly anonymous. If all you want is a comfortable room for the night with plenty of space and a great view then this is for you, but if you want some real style at this price level try CitizenM a couple of blocks away.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor for a stupendous view.

Stayed here for 2 days with wife so we could do some xmas shopping, the hotel was perfect for our needs and positioned in the heart of sauchihall st.Having stayed at premier inns before we knew what to expect but have to say that this particular one was first class. The rooms were lovely views excellent and breakfast whole and hearty setting us up for the day ahead. We also ate in the resturaunt on the second night and had an excellent meal in the lovely cosy dining room. All staff were very attentive and very pleasant and prices in bar reasonable.Overall we now know that for a value for money break in Glasgow this premier inn comes out tops for us.

Room Tip: we were on 4th floor and found it just right although doesnt really matter as lifts very quick

Stayed here for one nights business and two nights pleasure. It's in a great location right next to the shopping centre (Buchanan Galleries). It only opened in October this year so everything is really new. The train station is really close by, should you wish to use it and there is a car park about 2 minutes walk (although it's not the cheapest we've used in Glasgow).
The staff were all really nice, nothing too much trouble. There is a lovely bar/restaurant and whilst we didn't, we did get a couple of drinks from the bar and were very happy with the service and selection.
The hotel is really central for everything - right on the corner of sauchihull street so plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We found a great Indian restaurant - Asmaan on Bath Street. I couldn't recommend it highly enough, food was to die for and the staff were really helpful - offering to spice anything up, all cooked fresh so they can tweak as required. They even do take away if you want to take something back to your room.
I would most definitely book this hotel again when next in Glasgow.

Room Tip: The higher up you are - the better view you get of the city.
