“Well Worth A Visit”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Was on holidays recently in Glasgow and had a great time. Was in The Buchanan St. area and decided to try out Yiamas for lunch with my wife and young daughters.
First impressions were good as we were made welcome and everything was spotlessly clean, a big plus. Prices also were reasonable.
We had more than enough food (lunch) and it was very tasty and authentic.
Premises was very quiet as it was a Monday but nevertheless staff checked in with us on numerous occasions which we appreciated.
Liked the idea of open Kitchen on ground floor.
Yiamas is on Bath Street which is situated close to the main shopping area and would advise anyone who likes greek food or something different to go along and try it, you won't be disappointed, we weren't.

“Authentic Greek homecooking.”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

My friend and I have just enjoyed delicious freshly cooked food and great service. I had the gyros with marinated pork, tender and perfectly seasoned. My friend had the chicken souvlaki which was more spicey than expected but delicious and tender. We finished off with lovely homemade backlava. The staff were friendly and efficient. It is a little spartan in terms of decor but that didn't stop us spending a pleasant 2 and a 1/2 hours there!

“Great value lunch”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

We had been meaning to try this since reading a review in the Herald last year, and were passing by at lunchtime this week.

We had a very good 2 course lunch for £6.95 - the menu is limited to 4 starters and 4 mains, but for that price who could complain.

We will certainly go back for the pre theatre and full menu next time we are going to anything - it is only just round the corner from the Concert Hall and only a few minutes walk from the Theatre Royal.
