“So much to do!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

There's the university, Kelvingrove Park, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, the Botanic Garden, and just hanging out on Byers Road. We highly recommend Curler's Rest and Inn Deep as fantastic pubs. If the weather's nice, sit outside along the Kelvin River at Inn Deep. And tell George and Diesel we said hi! Very friendly people there (and dugs too).

“HOP ON HOP OFF BUS *St georges Square Glasgow”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2013

I paid £9.00 and had 2 days travel on the HOP ON HOP OFF BUS, I loved it so went around Glasgow 3 times and with different guides so learnt new things. The bus covered 24 attractions and I was surprised to see such fantastic sights. and my hotel was on the path so I used it as a bus as well! Glasgow had too many VICTORIAN BUILDINGS DEMOLISHED in the 60s and awful new buildings were built. As the games take place in 2014 they are redoing many buildings. Glasgow University is a must, gorgeous and the Hunterian Art Gallery is there. I loved the Glasgow School of ART-they do tours but you pay for this and it is worth it.£9.00)
Kelvin Grove Park has a fine art gallery with SALVADOR DALI and you need 4 hours here, so much to see on paintings and inventions (stop 19). I recommend that the bus is the first thing you DO IN GLASGOW so you will see where you are and how easy it is to get around Galsgow and only 600,000 PEOPLE live there! I enjoyed my 4 days even though it rained on 2 days. Take a pac a mac and extra rain hat.

“Nice chi-chi shops and coffee shops”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

Byres Road in West End worth a visit, some really nice shops & vintage emporiums especially one of the little alleyways. A visit to Nardini's coffee shop is a must, the medium latte must be almost a pint at a very reasonable £2.95. Apple pie is also scrummy as is the Ice Cream, best coffee shop on whole trip. Kelvingrove Museum is just around the corner, lots of nice places to eat.
