Lots to do, near the Botanical Gardens, some great restaurants, and near the Kelvingrove Park as well.

The West End of Glasgow.. what's not to like??

This beautiful little spot in Scotland's vibrant city has everything you need from gorgeous cafes to sip your coffee, ice cream parlours, a fantastic range of seriously good restaurants, cocktail bars, pubs, late night brasseries, boutique jewellers and gift shops, local grocers, butchers, cheesemongers, ..... not to mention the truly breathtaking architecture!

You haven't experienced Glasgow until you've been to the West End.

Lots of interesting little lanes with great pubs, restaurants and shops. Very buzzy atmosphere as full of students. Byres Road itself has seen better days - not so many quirky little shops - but check out Nancy Smilie's in Cresswell Lane.

Glasgow's west end has something for everyone - great museums and galleries, quirky individual shops, remarkable pubs, and some great restaurants. A very mixed population - that's one of the things that make it so special and so much fun.

The west end is mainly student land, but it still fits the bill for every age group. With loads of restaurants and cafes and bars you can always find what your looking for. Theres also loads of small unsual shops with vintage clothes or weird and wonderful things for around your home. It's a really interesting place.
