We stayed for two nights en route for north-west Scotland. I had been attracted by previous reviewers to book in this Campanile and was not disappointed. Incredibly helpful manager and staff dealt with all enquiries with enthusiasm and the right information. Hotel room was immaculately clean. 4 stars instead of 5? one tiny pillow per person - so take your own. Also the breakfast staff had huge numbers to deal with coming in waves from 6am, by the time we hit the room at 8am, they were exhausted, the tables in chaos (staff are not allowed to clear tables with trays which would have speeded things up) and bread/croissants were having to be baked (excellent but a longish wait).

Room Tip: Higher floors best with rooms on south side.

Needed to be in Glasgow for an interview so didn't need anything fancy, just somewhere to lay my head. Good location near the river & less than 10 minute walk into the centre. Rooms are basic but quite large, clean & well presented. Reception staff, David, was very cheerful & friendly. Checking in easy. Very warm day so having aircon was a bonus. At under £45 would use again.
Only minor irk was the sink overlapped the toilet! Larger people be aware.

Room Tip: Higher floors away from the lifts, facing the river are better.

Reasonable priced hotel that is walking distance from the SECC and the new Hydro that is currently being built.

Yes, the rooms are basic, however they were clean and staff were friendly.

I would say the only negative for this hotel is the food, it wasn't the greatest, however, there is a couple of restaurants about 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. If you want to go further afield you can grab a taxi into town, which is not far.

If you are driving there is a car park just outside, which you receive a code from the hotel to allow you to park for free.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My wife and I booked a last minute break to Glasgow and chose this hotel as we had previously visited it. We find the rooms are excellent, air conditioning was a bonus due to the weather at the time of our visit. The staff could not have been more helpful, from the moment we arrived until we departed we found them most pleasant and very informative. We had one meal in the restaurant which was certainly value for money. We also visited the nearby restaurant which was also a very pleasant experience. With free car parking and easy access to the nearby motorway and shopping centre, we find this hotel caters very well for all our needs.

Room Tip: Rooms facing motorway can suffer from road noise if windows are left open, but rooms do have air-conditioning therefore windows can be closed and room remains comfortable.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while at a conference at the SECC.

Rooms were a reasonable size, large enough desk to use a laptop, and the provided TV had a good range of freeview channels. The aircon was very good (thankful for this given it was so warm at the time)

The only let down about this hotel (which is quite a big deal in my opinion) was the quality of the breakfast. The cooked buffet options tasted like they had been left in the serving trays for ages (especially the hash browns), which was a disappointment.

All in all, not a bad hotel but I wouldn't rush back again.
