“"Hang the dj" Morrisey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

Went in for some dinner. Great food and two for one on burgers! Left shortly after though. Dj was awful.

“Great value, handy spot, 20 beers on tap”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 3, 2013

Dined midweek and enjoyed ourselves. Buy 1 get 1 free on burgers at the moment but even without this wouldve been good value. Nice clearly homemade burgers in Ciabatta rolls (much nicer than another off-Byres gourmet burger joint), homemade coleslaw and nice thin fries. Beer selection up there with the best.

In a notoriously difficult spot at Partick Cross - numerous places have failed here before (including the previous incarnation of Bruadar under different ownership). Good for kids - a few in when we were there - and for adults also.

Friendly staff.

Waiter was saying menu changes in the offing but based on our trip would definitely recommend.

“Fantastic burgers and service - will be back”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

We ate here on two occasions over the past week. The burgers are absolutely fantastic and made even better by the fact that they are all available on a 2 for 1 deal, open to everyone, all day every day! This already puts it streets ahead of a competitor in this market located on Ashton Lane. What is more, it also has the edge over the said establishment as the side of chips is included in the price! Service is really friendly and pretty efficient. The selection of beers is great, with plenty of different and unusual beers - especially liked the fact that they have Black Isle Blonde. There are also special offers on jugs of beer and house wine, making them terribly reasonably priced. Looking forward to our next visit greatly.

“The burgers are back”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

I was disappointed when this place closed last year, but it has miraculously re-opened. Apparently someone bought the whole lot (this includes all the stock that hadn't spoiled, which lead to reports of some stale beer, but from what I drank yesterday, that problem has now been solved). The new owners have plans to update the menu quite soon, although all the burgers will stay on it.

So, a wide selection of burgers, which when I showed up yesterday (a Sunday) were two-for-one. I'm not sure of that's an offer that is on every day or not. The burgers were delicious and were served with French fries, a small salad and coleslaw. Along with a pint each, that came to ~£16 for the two of us.
