“Nice theatre but gallery”
Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

I was at the rocky horror show on the 1st March show was certainly different the big down side is the stairs up to the gallery so wouldn't recommend this with someone with any walking difficulties and when your high up you feel the heat more so really warm but other than that I enjoyed the show once I was over the initial shock of people dressed up would go back but lower down than the gallery hope this review helps

“The Kings & I”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Went to see Mathew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty yesterday. Great performance. We had seats in the front row of the Upper Circle which cost approx £30+. Great view of the stage...better than the back of the Grand Circle. Not a lot of leg room so if you are a tall person try for an aisle seat to give more room. Staff were fab...really helpful. Prices in the bar seemed a bit pricey at £10 for a mediocre glass of red wine and a small bottle of beer but then with a captive audience I suppose it;s not surprising.

Worst thing about the Kings has got to be the fact that the seats are sooooo uncomfortable. Can parking in the multistorey behind the theatre is convenient and cost £4.80 for the duration of the show.

“What a brilliant theatre!”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

So beautiful, and yet so unpretencious. Loved it. Note: the climb to the gallery is way, way too steep and too long.

“A good traditional theatre”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

A good intimate theatre that gets good shows. Traditional interior. Very good transport links close by. Bar is quite expensive and ladies toilets aren't exactly numerous or modern
