A Play a pie and a Pint is a must for visitors to Glasgow. We went to see the summer panto last week and it was brilliant! The acting and singing was of a very high standard and the pie and drink were delicious. Great thing to to at lunchtime on a weekday ... Great atmosphere!

Provides exactly what it says in the title. The Oran Mor regularly provides a pie a play and a pint but at Christmas and at the Glasgow fair they show a pantomime. For £9 I had a large white wine, (choice of drinks available not just a pint!) a pie (vegetarian option also available) and a one hour specially written pantomime which was hysterical and very topical. Great value, well organised and most entertaining. A great lunchtime event. Tickets are available at the door but I always book as it is a very popular event.

We saw this on a hot Saturday afternoon (in Glasgow - amazing!) and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was another extremely funny panto from the "A Play, a Pie and a Pint" group. Each of the cast members was very very good, but the sight of David Anderson as the delightful Anastasia was the funniest thing I have seen for a long time. Keep up the good work folks.

I booked by phone a few days ago asked for pre theatre was told 3 small plates & glass of wine before 7 £10pp. We booked we were early so went for drink in brasserie about 6 staff and no
punters we still had to go to the bar for a drink. We had a lovely booth the girl seemed to know what the deal was no probs till we got the bill. They told us there was no deal we waited 20 mins till they checked still no joy they took a bit of the bill but a very unpleasent experience. this deal is still on the web & they totally told us it was not. First & Last visit

Wonderful place with a great vibe to it, always busy and rightly so. Brilliant collection of whiskies despite not having the 5 we initially asked for. Surprisngly not too pricy either so if you want some good food, entertainment and a wee dram this is the place to go.
