“Under staffed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2012

We made a visit to this place last Friday night. It looked lovely and clean. We stood for awhile before getting seated. The staff were polite and friendly. Food arrived quickly. Starters were very nice. Main was a disappointment as i ordered fish and chips and the fish was VERY crispy :( I loved the presentation but the taste of the main wasn't as great. Waited a VERY long time to get attention from the staff so we could pay the bill. After about 15 minutes managed to grap the waiters attention. Then it was another 20 minutes just to pay the bill. I sat and watched the staff running about crazy. Especially the young girl with the blonde hair. She was running about trying to please everyone and i didn't see her once stop for a breath. This place could be brilliant if their were MORE staff. Also saw people walking away cos they stood so long just to be seated. The prices were reasonable cos we ordered from the specials. But to be honest i don't think its worth another visit unless more staff are awarded. Maybe by doing this the food could taste more freshner and not over cooked.

“Over-cooked food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2012

We ate here last month and I was not impressed with the quality of the food for the price. I had chicken fajitas and basically all this consisted of was over-cooked chicken and onions. My husband also had a chicken dish and his breast of chicken was as dry as an old stick. It would appear that the chicken is cooked in advance and then kept warm. The staff were friendly and helpful but the wine was overpriced at £7 for a glass. I am assuming this was a standard size glass as we were not asked if we wanted a small or large one. I wouldn't eat there again as in Glasgow City Centre there are a lot of eating places to choose from and this falls below average with slightly higher than average prices for food and ridiculously priced wine.
