Cannot be faulted, for its food, helpful friendly staff or the service, all of which were superb and excellent value for money at £10 plus multi-personal choice extras . As befits a casino the décor is flash but very nice; however at the end of the meal, running the blockade of the ‘quick fag’ brigade in serried rows at the front door is not the perfect end to a perfect meal.

The area can be colourful so don’t think glamour and upmarket casino but from our experience, sorry to say, this was more like running the blockade of the sign-on queue at a Labour Exchange in the seventies

We ate in the restaurant on Sunday on the dine out for a £10, the meal was beautiful, scalops cooked to perfection and the charcoal grilled steak was cooked to perfection, I would recommend this place anytime as everything was cooked from scratch. The views overlooking the Clyde were lovely. A special mention to the restaurant staff as they were very chatty and professional.

The casino was lovely there were a few guys that had a bit much to drink and were quite loud but security dealt with the situation promptly. What a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the set up and decor was modern and relaxing.

I had the pleasure of visiting The Alea to play in a recent poker festival. The cardroom was superbly run by Michelle, with tournaments and cash games available to play in.
