The main thing about this hotel for us I feel is the one to one with reception staff on arrival....as a 5 star Hotel lots of other things are taken as quality norm and expected.
However we must mention Martyn Agnew who went out of his way, at our arrival (the extra mile as they say)
It was our anniversary and we had just left another not so nice Hotel (before check in !.)..so we trundled into Radisson Blu looking to see if they had any 'room at the Inn'
Delighted by his sympathetic approach and care in getting us sorted out...showed real interest and made it all happen...and not in a purely corporate speak way..He made the day..Thanks again Martyn !
I am recently retired but have stayed in many many hotels worldwide over the years ,business and pleasure...the old saying 'you only get one chance at a first impression' rang true here.
Excellent contempory rooms with nice extras, breakfast was well presented, great location in Glasgow next to Central Station.,stroll anywhere from here...also believe they do valet parking ,did not know this at time..though a reasonable (£12 x 24 hrs ?) NCP car park in Oswald Street next door around corner
Excellent Restaurant "Piccollo Mondo" just across and along Argyle Street 150 yards ?...we had first rate evening Meal..strongly recommend.
We are Scots and know the City well..do recommend the Radisson if within your budget...More
