“great Stay”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

I was staying here for a family Xmas riot LOL
The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful, decor was modern and rooms very reasonably priced. The location is perfect for travellers round the corner From the mailline Station . There is a large selection of places to eat nearby to suit every palate and budget - staff are happy to help you find one that suits you or you can just wander up and down the road and take your pick! Great shopping

We stayed after a Christmas Party Night, there was a very long check in queue, however the staff were very attentive, with an offer of a free drink as compensation. The room was comfortable, and the party was good fun with a band that played great dance music. Overall a pleasant weekend.

This hotel is situated just across the road from the Central Station. The hotel is modern and has a very spacious feel to it. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped, with bath robes and slippers along with the usual stuff. Meeting rooms have everything you require on the day. The staff are etremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. They even helped me source a large plastic bag to wrap up a half defrosted turky in to transport back home in my suitcase! The bars are excellent, and do SUPERB cocktails.

The interior of this hotel is very modern, spacious and has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Rooms are also very modern with hard flooring rather than carpet, and are well equipped and comfortable. Staff were courteous and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. The only disappointing element of my one night stay was the breakfast experience: joined queue of at least 10 people to get into the restaurant. Finally got shown to a table after around 10 minutes after having name checked and drawn-out explanation about where the hot food was etc. Sat down with my two colleagues and waited for waiter to taken order for coffee. Didn’t happen and after around 5 minutes stopped a waiter and asked for coffee and toast. This then arrived but no butter. Asked another waiter for butter which we got. Then needed more coffee but again had to ask a waiter. A few tips for the hotel management if I may: Folk staying with your on weekdays are generally business people and have stuff to do – e.g. meetings to go to or flights to catch. They haven’t got time to queue up for breakfast or for slow service. They need to be in and out of the restaurant and they’re not after a leisurely breakfast. My observation was that you had more than enough staff on duty, but they simply weren’t organised or working hard enough. Overall, you’ve a great hotel so don’t go spoiling it over something as easy to remedy as this. (No complaints about the food at breakfast which was good.)

Fantastic stay. I had an upgrade in a business class room on the third floor. Very nice decor. A few minor remarks about the lack of waterpressure in the shower (would expect a good pressure shower or rainshower), lack of extra space to store clothes (rooms are more suited for business travelers with minimum clothing). However, overall a very good hotel with great service. I need to mention one member of staff in particular; David the bartender at Collage Atrium bar. He really made sure that we found just the right places to eat. Fantastic! If there is any Radisson manager reading this, make sure you keep this guy !!
Me and my colleague were well looked after and the recommendation for Charcoals Indian restaurant was an absolute gem.
The hotel is well located next to the Glasgow central station with a taxi rank just around the corner.
Will definitely come back when i'm staying in Glasgow.
