“Fab”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Eaten here twice now at weekends, haven't booked in advance and been lucky enough to get a table. Aromatic duck is excellent and served with plenty of sauce and pancakes. Much cheaper than city centre equivalents and the staff are lovely and friendly. We come to Glasgow every 6-8 weeks and plan to make this our regular when in Partick.

“Yum :D”
Reviewed June 18, 2012 via mobile

It was such good value...£13.50 for all you can eat! The difference between this and any other all you can eat is that it was not buffet style, you ordered & they cooked it for you...so much better than a buffet! I can't say I've had a better Chinese/Thai meal for a long time. Simply good food, well cooked & tasty. I liked the fact that it is not as funky as the restaurants in town & it is very old school. Loved it & so did my parents who took me out for a celebration. The staff were friendly & work hard!

“Good value lunch.”
Reviewed May 30, 2012

Iv'e been in this Partick restaurant a couple of times for lunch. Three courses for £5.90 is very good value. Ok its a bit dated looking inside and not as upmarket as some of the Chinese restaurants in the centre of town. But your hard earned pound goes quite far here and the food is good enough in the way that most British Chinese food is, filling and fairly tasty.

The usual suspects are all here- chicken and sweetcorn/noodle/mushroom soup, Kung po and sweet and sour. Chicken fried rice. Of course you have to try the (wee) tasty 1980s banana
fritter for sweet (Do people really eat these in China?). Somewhere between average and very good so I would give three and a half out of five!

“Best value in town!”
Reviewed May 23, 2012

Best value buffet I have ever been to, rather than the food being served from a hotplate, they bring as much fresh food to your table as you need and the food is first class

“Very Decent”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

We went here last night.

Im glad I didnt read the only other review.

We enjoyed a variety of starters Prawn toast Ribs and the chicken and mushroom soup.
The soup wasnt spectacular but the rest was very good indeed.

We had 4 mains to share (between 4 of us) a Prawn a chicken a beef and a duck dish.
All were well cooked and plentiful in the helpings.

With a couple of drinks each the bill was still under 60 GBP so very good value.

Its not a spectacular venue but for a nice midweek meal I would recomend.

The staff are also very nice helpful and work very hard.
