Went to the NT production of The Magistrate with John Lithgow beamed to the GFT. The cinema is a gem with excellent viewing from all seats. The cafe/bar is a bonus with good selection of light meals and drinks. Will be back many times as my daughter has bought me gift tokens for cinema

Went here with my son and daughter to see "The Shining" recently. The last time i was here was around 20 years ago.......nothing's changed!!
I mean that in the nicest possible way, the GFT is an experience in itself.....
As big Arnie said,"I'll be back!!"

Best cinema for atmosphere and a bar cosmo which makes a night at the cinema a real pleasure. We will return to the GFT on a regular basis. Hoping for more great movies to watch

Went for a Christmas visit and enjoyed it. The cafe in the foye doesnt have the best selection and the staff werent too friendly but the cafe itself was nice to sit in. The foye is clearly the original and is lovely to see. The main attraction is the building itself and you see a film too!! The Cinema (Screen 1) was spotless and a pleasure to be in. The foye staff were extremely friendly and pleasant. Comfy theatre and would go back in a heartbeat.

An excellent place to go and have that different experience we came to watch It's a Wonderful Life before Christmas, I can't remember the last time I heard a cinema audiance applaud. Its small and cozy a nice bar and cafe to sit in before or after the film unless your are watching the late film.
