We always book the AT on our Theatre trips to Glasgow. It's one of the cheapest around, but that does not mean they skimp on anything. Checkout is always easy and painless. The lift only holds 4 people (less with luggage) so that can be a bit of a wait. But the rooms are always clean. modern and comfortable.

We have stayed at this hotel twice a year for the last 4 years with no complaints.

The breakfast is superb, hot buffet with loads of choice, including about 4 potato options. Can't beat it for quality and value.

Would like to not recommend this hotel, simply for the reason that if too many people try it out I might not get in next time :)

Area a bit rough, no restaurant so had to find somewhere. Very tired hotel. Lots of other hotels I'd rather stay in. Was convenient for where I was working otherwise I wouldn't have stopped here. Visitors would be better in a premier inn than stopping here.

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and found it excellent. The single rooms we had were infact doubles, but were not costed as such. Good sized bath/shower room. At almost the top of the building, a bit dark and slow lift. But as we did not expect to spend much time in the room, this did not matter. Also good that could get Wi-Fi there, although Skype and i-player were harder. Room was very clear, new towels each day.
Staff friendly and very efficient. The hotel was busy, but well organised so that we had no delay booking in. And indeed as we were leaving watched a large number of football fans being booked in very efficiently. Cooked breakfast was much better than we'd expected and again very efficiently run, despite being busy.
Very central and it felt safe and not too noisy for central position. Near Central Station, which we used quite a bit to get to Arran one day and Mull another. Rail and bus fares very reasonable too!

We needed a central hotl for 1 night only , and not too expensive.
Well this hotel is central and only 5 mins from central station.
Room plus breakfast reasonably priced.
Room was a bit tired but very clean and had usual tea/coffee etc.
The bar was very quiet , pleasant to sit in and drinks cheap!
Breakfast was very poor, wished we had just booked room. Precooked greasy bacon, solid fried eggs - the usual buffet style but very poor.
All staff friendly.
Would recommend for 1 night stay if you need a central location as good value, but skip breakfast!

Hotel was a little old and tired but comfortable the breakfast was great it was very central to buses, trains, short walk to town centre. Our room was very small had to walk side ways to get past end of bed and watch not to hit head on TV on way past. Basin was cracked and no shelf at all in bathroom. The entrance was dirty and tired looking

This hotel might be convieniently located near the train station and that's about it, everything else about our stay at this hotel was well below average, much like they overall experience of Glasgow city itself , once is well and trly enough. The entry foyer gives an indication of what's to come. The receptionist accommodating but not that welcoming , she did swap rooms for us to allow our daughter to stop with us for the nite unannounced- there was a painter in the hallway on our 3rd level doing touch-ups, seriously needed more than touch-ups , we were in the older part our friends had a recently renovated room - which was way better than our out-dated badly furnished room - whilst the room and bathroom was a good size - badly in need of updating/ re-furbishing . At least everything worked - even the two lights only in the room - one wall and one pendant. No air conditioning so ventilation by open window only - would not have minded - but yo are in the city where the noise prevails until the wee hours of the morning. After a crap nights sleep the breakfast was crap too. Worst buffet breakfast on tour , the reasonably elegant dining room and waiting staff being the only saving grace. Car parking about ten minutes away . The lift the slowest in the UK. Nothing to recommend about staying at this hotel, my advice stay elsewhere if you have to visit Glasgow. I will never do either ever again.

From the first steps inside everything was 1st class. The reception staff were pleasant, tidy & very polite.
The room was good, very clean & tidy, well looked after. The breakfasts were excellent, good hot food, all served fresh, there was a good cold selection also.
Overall one of the best value hotels that I have stayed in for a long time, will be staying there again in October.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Glasgow, it is very convenient for the train stations, 10 mins walk from Queen St. or 5 mins walk from central.
