“Will be going back!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2014

This was my first time visiting Viva Brazil, heard a lot of good things about it.

We visited on Thursday evening, was pretty busy for a week night but then there was a concert on locally which may have explained it. We were made very welcome, the waiter was very enthusiastic and explained the process for those who hadn't been before.

Salads were nice and fresh with a great selection, but you don't really visit for that. The meat was brilliant, my advice is to go easy on the initial servings (Cheaper meat like sausage, chicken breast, pork) and hold out for the rump and sirloin steaks - the meat servers (I forget the name, wasn't being rude) will happily give you a number of cuts without hesitation if you wish.

All in all, great cooked meat, welcoming and helpful staff, nice clean facility and it's in the city centre. I'll certainly be going back.

“Would try again”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2014

Really liked the whole idea of the selection of meats brought to your table but sometimes the same things being brought around too often. Salad bar and deserts were lovely though so would definitely try it again.

“New favourite restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

My partner seen this place recommended on Facebook so decided to book it for my birthday, I wasn't too keen on the whole concept of it but after arriving I was pleasantly surprise. We arrived 20min early and asked to wait in the bar area, within a couple of minutes they told us they had a table ready and we were seated and had drinks ordered. As this our first time the waitress explained everything to us. The salad island is amazing so much to choose from and VERY tasty. Then the waiters started to serve the meat...OMG amazing, so tender, flavoursome and such a brilliant new concept on dining. The services and staff are second to none, considering it was a Saturday night and very busy, the staff could not have been any more efficient. The food is unbelievably good and very good value for money. Will definitely be visiting again...very soon

“Disappointing service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014

Food was good as was the service of the waiters serving the meat but unfortunately the rest of the service was very poor. Despite having booked a table and there being plenty of empty tables when we arrived we waited a long time to be seated without an apology or explination. Once seated we again waited a long time for our drinks order to be taken and another age for the said drinks to arrive.
After we had finished our mea lyet another long wait for plates to be cleared and offered dessert. We were given choice of 3 desserts only to be told 10 mins later 2 of these were no longer available.
It took us ages until we were able to attract the attention of staff for our bill which when arrived was wrong although it was correctly amended and an apology given when we pointed it out.
Due to poor service I would not return to Viva Brazil nor would I recommend it to family or friends :(
