“Good all round experience!”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

Booked for lunch on Saturday with some friends from down south, we didn't know what to fully expect, we were pleasantly surprised by the overall service and quality of food. On entering the restaurant you are seated at the bar by well mannered and professional staff. After around 5 minutes we were escorted to our table, we were introduced to our waiting staff who explained the very easy system for receiving copious amounts of meat!! Firstly, you have to go the extensive salad bar but beware you could easily fill up on this and miss some of the amazing barbecue. Not long after you have visited the salad bar the food begins to arrive, it is explained in detail as to what you are eating, for lunch we had around 10 different cuts of meat from chicken, pork, lamb, sirloin steak and chicken hearts [worth a try but not for everyone]! You can eat as much as you can; the table is yours for at least 2 hours, staff very attentive. This is a great restaurant to try different varieties of meat and small selections rather than the regular sit down experience. Defiantly worth a visit and we will be returned, hopefully very soon

“Viva Brazil May Promotion”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

Being a friend of Viva Brazil Glasgow's facebook page means I usually see any offers they give out. So when their May promotion was rodizio meal and a bottle of win for two to share for £30, myself and another friends took them up on their offer. As the majority of us don't drink I contacted them to ask if we could swap the bottle of wine for soft drinks instead. They agree but only a regular glass. To anyone else this seems a bit mean considering how much a bottle of wine cost in there. So I went higher up and contacted the general manager Angelo who honoured a pint of soft drink each instead of a bottle of wine. Result

As I was the only one who has been to Viva Brazil before my friends were pretty excited and they weren't disappointed. From entering the venue to leaving we were treated like V.I.Ps. Our server Anna was attentive and professional even though it was pretty busy for a Thursday evening. Also good service from the male who came around with the selections of meat. My friends couldn't believe how much meat they could eat and also the salad bar with hot and cold stuff too. For the money we paid they were delighted and would be back again.

“Very poor”
Reviewed May 23, 2013 via mobile

Have been to this restaurant a few times and always given it the benefit of doubt. It was quite busy so we expected the service to be quick slick instead it was extremely poor, waiting a good 15-20 mins between meat courses. Bar service was poor as well with a good half hour wait to have the tops taken off a couple of beers. We will not be returning to this Glasgow venue again.
