“Rip-off”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

Went here for my staff night out with 20 in the party. Meats were cooked well but nowhere near as many cuts as we were led to believe we would pay for. At £23.50 per head excluding drinks on a monday night we expected to get what we paid for. When the staff were challenged on why we didn't receive the full quota their response was there was none left which considering had only another 15 customers left us a little bewildered. Also the notion of you can eat as much as you like seemed to wear off on the staff after about an hour. The concept is great but poorly executed. We were also hit with a service charge which we informed them they would not be receiving and we got the serious cold shoulder. Not satisfied to rip you off once but twice! Won't be back or ever recommended. Too big for their arrogant boots!

“Great food if you are a meat lover.”
Reviewed February 7, 2013 via mobile

The quality and concept of Viva Brazil is spot on. All you can eat meat and of a really great quality. The service is quite relaxed and informal and not to everybody's liking. It's not a romantic meal but wow, the meat feast is quite amazing. There is an all you can eat salad bar which is varied and very good quality. Then randomly waiters will bring all sorts of meat and it keeps coming.

The beef was excellent and chicken hearts a delicacy. The only thing to criticise is that the service was a little hit and miss. At times we had to wait but the food more then made up for it. I will certainly go back. A great experience.

“Full rodizio”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Just visited viva Brazil again, this has to be the best restaurant in Glasgow. The food is first class, top notch magnificent, what else can I say. The staff are always smiling and very friendly. We went on a Sunday with the added bonus of a free desert. We were served in the main by a girl called Briony, in my humble opinion every restaurant should have a Briony, she is a real asset and credit to her organisation. What more can I say keep up the good work.

“A nice place with nice food wouldn't pay full price”
Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

I visited viva brazil on an it's on deal. We got greeted on entry and. Shown to out table. The buffet area was ok but nothing to write home about. The meats were beautifully cooked and kept coming round. I would say that they didn't have anywhere near all the varieties advertised in the menu however enough variety to keep us happy.
The only downsides were the cost for extras, deserts were exorbitantly priced and I wouldn't have paid the full price for their dinner.
Well worth a visit if you can get it on a deal though.

“Great experience!”
Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

Arrived at 7.15 for our table and sat in lovely lounge area and ordered a cocktail. Staff all very friendly and helpful - this was our first time at a Brazilian restaurant. Taken to our table and lovely waitress explained whole procedure. The whole place was buzzing, almost carnival atmosphere! Lovely, comfortable seats, crisp table linen, immaculate!
Helped ourselves to the salad etc then the real fun began - the selection of meats was amazing, everything very fresh and piping hot. Waiters all in kilts which I thought was a lovely touch! Our waitress checked everything was ok and was really friendly and chatty - clearly loves her job!
All in all a great experience, brilliant value for money ( we were there with an Itison voucher but wound happily pay full amount!) and look forward to our next visit.
Ps I accidentally left a package and when I phoned on way home, I was told they had it at reception and just to collect it when convenient. Great service :-)
