“Super food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2014

We dropped into this cafe on a very wet Sunday. The choice of food was very good. We had soup and then jacket potatoes and a macaroni cheese between 3 of us.The soup was very good, clearly home made with a good portion of fresh bread. Both of the jackets were very tasty with a lovely side salad. The macaroni cheese was delicious too. The service was very good too. It was clear we were not locals and the lady serving made a point of chatting to us and when we asked for directions was very helpful. The cafe was closing for the owners holiday for two weeks that day but I was impressed at how much fresh food they still had and how thoughtful and considerate the staff all were. If we are back in Glasgow we would return.

“Beaut little café”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

Needed a coffee and juice before the journey back to London, this place hit the spot at a very reasonable cost.

Bacon roll had tasty thick cut bacon and the bagel with cream cheese and bacon was delicious. The latte was very nice and fast to arrive.

Tasted fresh and very good service all round.

“Relaxed West End cafe; friendly service, great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

I've always liked the look of this wee place, and so I used catching up with a friend as an excuse to try it out for lunch. We were told it would be a few minutes wait for the toastie that my friend had ordered, but when it arrived it looked great! I ordered one of the savoury tarts and it was delicious. Both were served with loads of nice, fresh salad (and a smile!). It was a little bit more expensive than average lunch meal deals, but worth it for the quality. Really nice food and great service in a relaxed little cafe - I'll be back for some cake next time!

“Consistently good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is great for brunch or lunch and is within walking distant of Kelvinbridge underground.

We would recommend sitting upstairs- it's really cute and feels like sitting in someone's cozy attic space.

The food is well worth the price. The toasties are made from thick organic bread. We would recommend the brie and bacon one in particular. They also have lots of good alternatives to sandwiches which is hard to find- tartlets and quiche, etc. They also cater well for people who eat gluten free or dairy free. The coffee is great. Try the chia latte!

The service is good - not brilliant-but made up for by the amazing food.

Try this place rather than the cafés on Byres Road!
