“Heaven in a cake!”
Reviewed January 4, 2013 via mobile

You cannot beat this cafe in Glasgow. The owners are delightful as they care about what they produce. They know there clientele very well and their food even more. I have always been impressed by this little haven on Great Western Road. Last week I had the most amazing scone. After living with a wonderful Yorkshire lass, I thought I'd tried the worlds finest scone, but the scone(s) we had here were far greater than anything that's passed these well travelled lips. To say 'I nearly died' could be a little melodramatic, but the lightness, the texture, flavour, warmth, quality jam etc just contributed to such a fantastic experience. We shall be back. Cafe Alba is one of Glasgow's hidden gems and everything you experience here is fit for a queen!

“Lovely freshly made food. Laid back atmosphere!”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

I LOVE this place. I go once a week with work colleagues for lunch and we are NEVER disappointed. The food is excellent. All freshly made on the premises and always very tasty. The people who run it are welcoming, friendly and eager to please. This lovely little cafe is well worth a visit!
