The restuarant atmosphere is great, very nice and cosy. The food is even better, ended up ordering the special which was slamon and saffron tagliatell. The waiter was very attentive and polite and we enjoyed the whole experience. Will definitley be back again.

My husband and I ate here last night for the first time and it definitely won't be the last! The restaurant is cosy and authentic with a lovely atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the portion sizes were just right, we were also given enough time between courses. This meant we were persuaded to share some Toscana cake for dessert, it was amazing, highly recommended! The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The bill for 2 starters, 2 mains, a dessert, a coffee and a lovely bottle of pino Grigio was less than £50 which we felt was exceptional value. This restaurant is a wee gem in the southside and we can't wait to come back!

Not many tables within this nice wee Italian restaurant which adds to its quaintness.
Our table for four was ready for us arriving at 7.30pm on a Saturday evening.
Drinks should have been offered as the menus were handed out but this only occured when we thought our food order was about to be taken so we decided just to order a bottle of red wine to start with (limited choice of red wines but nice never the less).
My better half started with the Goats Cheese & Roasted Pepper "Bruschetta" which she thoroughly enjoyed. Another member of our party had the standard Tomato Bruschetta which was piled high with tomato topping. Two of us started with the Calamari (tentacles & mantles) with Garlic Aoli attractively served on wooden platters and tasted as good as it looked.
Two of us decided on the Ribeye Steak with Pepper Sauce (a bowl of each) with fries. An ample serving and no complaints from either of us. My wife had Meatballs with Potatoes & Salad, while the remaining member of the party also had Meatballs but with Penne Pasta. Both commented on how tasty the Meatballs were but our friend was perplexed as to why the Pasta came with a different sauce to the Meatballs which confused the palate somewhat. Only myself had dessert, Tira Misu, which was ok but not fabulous.
The four meals, three bottles of red wine, coffees, several Brandies & Sabbuccas, Vodka, Baileys came to £190, although on the hand written and totalled bill it came out less than this as they had missed off 1 bottle of wine.
In summary, good tasty, wholesome food with no fancy frills. A wee bit slow on the service front but on the other hand you are not hurried out the door. In fact we had a most enjoyable 3 1/2 hour sitting.

Had an absolutely fab experience tonight, this place will now be a firm favourite! The food was fresh, flavourful and presented with pride. We had the bruschetta and calamari starters, seafood carbonara and beef cannelloni mains and the best homemade tiramisu ever. All the food was fantastic! The waiters were a perfect mix of friendly and professional, and the place certainly had the atmosphere of a wee bit of real Italy in Mount Florida. Well done!

I have eaten in here regularly but mostly for the early evening meal - which is great - but was in on Saturday night later on and was blown away by the quality of the food. The calamari is the best I have had in Scotland and better than many places in Italy and Spain and my tagliatelli main course was so flavourful and tasty. It challenged my previous dislike of pasta with creamy sauces in Scotland and managed to be really light. Also the wine list may be short but it is extremely good value for money. Someone here knows how to choose good wines. I will definitely keep eating here regularly and be back for the main menu.
