I had a meal in Sapori d'Italia last night with three friends and we could not fault anything. We had the early evening special and it was great value. The food was delicious and freshly made. The wine was good quality and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. It is quite a small restaurant so i would advise booking in advance. Highly recommended.

my wife and I have just returned from a lovely lunch at this small intimate genuine italian restaurant. The service and food was excellent and of very good value.. We are already planning to return with other family members and have no hesitation in giving this the highest rating for atmosphere and food for a small family restaurant.

The high ranking is quite a scary thing to live up to...it's not fancy, modern or even bigger than an average cafe. But somehow this little unassuming eaterie manages to be greater than the sum of its parts. It's a bit cold when the door opens. The desserts were supplemented by what appeared to be "bought in" chocolate cake..crowd pleaser, but a british clunker in the menu in my opinion. Thats the moany bit out the way. A genuinely happy experience was had in this place, the fairly priced house red was welcome and the attentive friendly staff looked after us well. It's not chain Italian, forget that, I wouldn't cross the street for it (I'm a tough crowd).. It's real chunky tasty honest southern italian. The truffle and italian sausage tagliatelle was outstanding as were the meatballs, the antipasti, the minestrone and the homemade tiramisu. Really enjoyed everything that was guzzled from homemade breadsticks to divine coffee, would recommend for anytime and any casual get together. Next time the tagliatelle is all mine.

This small rustic restaurant was a delightful find, friendly atmosphere and the food was authentic and delicious. Bruchetta was very tasty, Lasagne was so yummy, Carbonara with sea food was perfect, we cleared our plates over a leisurely lunch. Will definitely be back some time very soon.
