My now fiance and I had our first dinner date here and have been once a month regulars ever since!

Sappori d'Italia is the kind of place you would walk past and never think twice about visiting but please take the time to go. I would travel accross town or further to eat food this good!

The service is personal but not in your face and the staff are incredibly friendly. No request is too great nor too small. The freshly cooked food is to die for and the cosy setting are the reasons we return time after time.

I can't recommend this place enough. Get yourself down there and enjoy some excellent, authentic, home-made, italian cuisine at an incredibly affordable price!

Superb little Italian, really friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Genuine Italian food from genuine Italian chef

Can't wait to revisit for a full meal and not just rushing at lunch time...

An Italian friend from work took the team here for an afternoon lunch and we all really loved it. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was think and tasty.

Had a lovely coffee to finish

This is the place. Only been open a few months but already attracting those who like quality Italian ingredients instead of the ususal plastic rubbish that almost everyone else is offering.

Bruno and his lovely wife Simone run the show - he is front of house, she is in the kitchen and keeps an eye on him.

This is a cafe - trattoria serving fresh food throught the day and evening in a corner shop on Cathcart Road. You can call in for a coffee or a pasta and you don't have to have a 3 course meal. I had the canneloni which was the best I have tasted this side of Pisa and my friend had the lasagne which was generous and tasty. They are eager to please and I don't think it will be long before they are queuing out the door just to have a taste of the real Italy.

We shall be returning soon for more of the same.
