The COOKING - yes COKING - is superb in this restaurant. So different from one Glasgow restaurant chain I won't mention the name of where you get the very strong impression that everything is just dumped in a sauce rather than cooked from scratch. For some reason - probably because of the queues we'd seen frequently whilst passing - we'd gained the impression that they didn't accept bookings. Not so. As another reviewer had mentioned, the portions are small. But, as we found, they are not as small as the Indian 'tapas' type portions. We ordered three meals between the two of us, and we couldn't quite finish everything. Thank goodness we'd ordered only a chicken & potato pakora as a starter. We loved the way they left the bean-sized garlic pieces uncrushed. We had leg of lamb (this was off the bone) a king prawn dish, and a chicken. All were delicious. The service was friendly and unobtrusive. The very small selection of wines was absolutely fine. This place is a definite 'find' and we will be going back very soon.
