“Cannae beat it!”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

I love, love, love The Den! Faultless curries every time and at great prices too! Don't miss the King Prawn and Monkfish curries, something different from the usual 'Ashoka' fare and the fish is always cooked to perfection! Sometimes a hassle to get in, especially if you're a larger group, but book ahead and you won't regret it!

“Great wee curry place...”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Booked a table for 4 to dine this evening quite easily, however this place can get packed quite quickly as have walked past a few times and there have been lengthy queues outside. Upon arrival all staff are accommodating, friendly and knowledgable of the menu. Had a lamb and mint main dish which was slightly on the small side compared to my fellow diners dishes, however it was packed with heat and flavour and enjoyed it thoroughly. will highly recommend and will return again hopefully very soon!

“Faultless fish”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

A spontaneous lunch for two, perfectly cooked ,simply and elegantly served. monk fish with puy lentils spiced and cooked to retain the delicate texture of the fish. Simple chicken curry just as it says. Plain Nan and boiled basmati completed our simple and delicious meal. Recommended with enthusiasm.

“Absolutely superb”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

Absolutely fabulous meal! I had booked by phone late the previous day and they were able to accommodate six of us at the time we requested. Slight confusion when we arrived as to where we had booked for. We arrived at the Cafe entrance (next door) to be told that they do not take book
ings. Gentleman on the door very kindly phoned the other two restaurants to find out if I had booked for them and we were duly directed to the Dining In door!
All our food was really fresh and cooked to perfection. All was absolutely delicious! I particularly enjoyed the radish paratha! All the food was so tasty and fresh, and every plate was completely clean when we finished. The puddings wete delicious too. The coffee was extremely good too - the best I have tasted in any Indian restaurant! Our meal for six of us was very reasonably priced too!
We will certainly visit again.
