Description: Situated on the south side of Glasgow in a picturesque conservation village, this 34 bedroom hotel is within easy reach from the two main north-south moterways and is an excellent destination for both buisiness & pleasure. Highly reputed locally and open for meals throughout the day, the restaurant is ideal for casul dining, with business lunches & early evening dining deals between Monday - Friday. You can relax in the lounge bar and enjoy a drink or morning coffee in the comfortable lounge. Tastefully decorated with elegant chandeliers and it's own dedicated bar area, the Banqueting Suite has been designed with weddings in mind. There is a nod to a traditional Scottish county house with tartan carpets and stags heads but with a very modern twist! Come and see for yourself.

Our first visit this year for dinner and what a pleasure. No overwhelming Muzak only the busy hum of conversation on a Saturday night. Service was cheerful and welcoming. Everything at table was perfect and the food excellent. As a great pudding hand even I struggled to finish as I was well fed and watered lol.

The ambience in the restaurant is superb for a family group or gathering of friends. We had a lovely experience again and the staff played a big part in this. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

A very nice restaurant in the preservation village of Eaglesham. It is very popular and busy at weekends. We did have a thougroughly enjoyable meal.
As it was busy getting drinks in the waiting area while waiting for a table was abit chaotic as the waiting staff concentrated on the diners. Also we were on a later sitting as it was busy and we didn't book soon enough and one item we asked for was Olives and bread. But olives had run out so we were offered humous instead, fine. But when the plate was delivered humous had run out too so we got a couple of dips presented instead, one of which I had on my dinner plate anyway.
But it is a lovely restaurant with friendly attentive staff and that is why it has so much custom and we will definitely go again.

We were back again last week and both food and service were excellent. Tandori sea bass may not appeal to all but it was very tasty and the sweet potato chips were just the perfect accompaniment. The staff really do,go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and special. After a gruelling day at the care home it was just what we needed. Thank you all for making our visit so,pleasant.

Discovered this place through work colleagues. What a find! Staff, rooms and then we get to the restaurant, excellent in all areas. I come to East Kilbride on a regular basis for work but have to say, having travelled extensively in the UK and elsewhere, this is first class and good value for money. I feel I have missed something but struggle to think what.

This old traditional Scottish Brewers Hotel is now in private hands and has had a major refurb.
We went for a weekday lunch to celebrate an old ladies birthday (95) and it was excellent.
The staff were extemely pleasant and offered a genuine caring personal service , They helped to make the lunch special and nothing was too much trouble.
The Hotel is primarily a wedding venue but is a great place for midweek eating. Easy parking and close to Glasgow and East kilbride
The decor is simple but extrely tastefull and the food is good and reasonably priced. I thoroughly recommend this fine establishment,
