We stayed here for 6 nights to take in a function at the SECC. One of the best hotel experiences we have had. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The location is ideal for both the SECC and the city centre

I recentltly stayed at The Menzies Hotel Glasgow oads tour manager of a group. The welcome was warm with even tea and coffee on arrival and the personal attention of several members of the senior managementteam. The facilities including aswimming pool sana steam room and gym wre free to residents. The front of houseteam including the concierge were eager to please and nothing was too much bother. The rooms were spacious and warm complete with bath shower fridge free wifi television cdesk, comfortable seating and wide screen TV. The hotel possessed a beauty salon and shop with excellent oprening hours. The menu in the brasserie was varied, the food quality excellent and the service impeccable with Senior management not afraid to pitch in and clear tavbles or wait if required. In fact the key to this hotel was team work with all staff from top to bottom being prepared to multi task with the senior managemnt leading the way and the esprit de corps was very evident. I would gladly return anytime to this hotel

Very friendly staff - including the chef who lent me a shirt because I had forgotten to take a change to the (very good) gym. Our bedroom (that was, the bedroom for my wife and I, not the chef!) was large and comfortable, with a nice large double bed, and not disturbed by noise from other guests. Outside, the edge of business area location is not ideal for tourists, but it's nevertheless close to the city centre and still convenient for everything. Particulaly good for visits by car, with its own private car park and easy access to both sides of the Clyde. I thought this hotel was good value and excellent quality for the money, though I bulked at paying £12 each for breakfast.

We stayed there from the 25th/27th Aug, we got upgraded to the paramount suite which was lovely, clean & cosy. The staff are very polite & helpful, this our 2nd time here & will definitely be back. It's only a 10 min walk to the city centre & the hotel being quite close to the motorway it is very quiet.

I have stayed at the Menzies Hotel Glasgow on numerous occasions.

The rooms are excellent are a very good size and have large king size beds. The facilities in the room are good consisting of refreshments Tea, Coffee, chocolate, water etc. Iron, ironing board, trouser press and hairdryer also plenty of toiletries in the Bathroom and in case you forget some items reception will provide toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit, shoe cleaning kit, Bathrobes etc

The hotel has a great leisure facilities with a swimming pool, steam room and Jacuzzi and also plenty of cross training and other exercise machines in the gym.

The staff are always helpful and cheery.

The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. The a la Carte menu is varied and the bar snacks are also good.

All in all this is my favourite hotel in Glasgow. My first choice hands down.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three night Tuesday to Friday stay. The room, dining, hotel facilities and staff all merited the hotel four-star rating - our only reservation was an initial difficulty in locating the hotel parking area. A little more detail re. parking on your web site (for first time visitors) would be the icing on the cake. Not much more to improve!

Looking forward to our next stay.

Room Tip: Room 706 good size with no road noise

Stayed at the hotel Friday and Saturday night. Room was very comfortable and roomy with a large king size double bed. Good facilities in room tea and coffee , hair drier, iron and ironing board, trouser press and air conditioning. All staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was self-service with a good variety of food. Hotel was very clean and well presented throughout and is well placed for the city centre, train station, and motorways. Good secure parking across from the hotel at £4 a day. Would stay at this hotel again.
