Had a hassle free overnight stay and at £23 per night was exceptional value for money. Room was clean, reception staff very friendly and helpful. Good location being a short bus journey from Buchanan Street Bus Station with a choice of places to eat directly across from the hotel.

Hi
Again we have used Travelodge and this hotel was basic, clean, reasonably positioned and did the job.
We used it for a concert in the Hydro. Like I said clean room but the hotel is very basic. Staff were friendly enough though.
It is close to Springfield Quay (right across the road) where there are plenty of eating places, bowling, cinema etc. Reasonably close to city centre (approx.10 minute walk) and a Tesco Express about 5 minute walk down the street.
We like Travelodge because we can take the dog.
Satisfying no fuss stay.

Stayed here end of February reception staff were not friendly at all !! Not what you want to see as you walk through the door.... Arrived a 2.30 to be told we couldn't check in till 3 I said its only a half could I not just get in my room ? The answer that the room wasn't ready and that early check in there was a charge so due to the drive from Aberdeen I agreed to pay the fee and to my surprise the room instantly became ready !!! The room wasn't very clean was a mission to get to my room dodging trolleys hoovers and dirty linen. Will def be looking in spending a little extra for a better hotel next time.

We would expect our reception team to provide a warm and friendly welcome so we are sorry to learn of the lapse in service Lisaf1256. We can confirm that we do provide an early check in service which does come at a £10.00 charge and will allow you to access your room from 12pm, this does mean that we will have a number of rooms ready for guests who wish to use this service. Our housekeeping team are required to ensure all rooms are up to great standards so it is regrettable to learn you found your room did not meet our usual expectations. We will be sure to pass your comments onto our hotel management team so that they can be aware of the improvements which are needed.

A good basic hotel for staying a night or two. Good location and road noise is a minimum and you should not be put off by this.
Good for business trips, stop offs or events. Perhaps would not stay for a holiday but a weekend away it is fine.

Stayed at this Travelodge back in January for 2 nights. Decent location, ideal for buses into town and along to Ibrox Park, bus stops literally 50 yards away. Clean, comfortable and great value for money we paid £59 for the 2 nights. Has had a recent refurb and bed provided 2 good nights sleep.
Car parking was free, you have to log your car reg number in the machine every 24hrs in the hotel foyer.
Couple of decent pubs in walking distance, the Tynesider being very lively, and the staff and locals friendly, even remembering our tipple from earlier in the day after we returned from the football. We took breakfast at a Harvester just over the road in the Quays shopping park, which was good and again decent value.
Will stay here again next time we do Glasgow

Room Tip: Views are not really panoramic, but the front of the hotel facing the motorway was still quiet

friendly welcome; clean, well-appointed and well-maintained room; competitive price; plenty parking close to where I needed to be - what more could you ask for? Really good choice for a stopover, and a manageable walk from the SECC

An unpretentious 'low-rise' motel. It does everything it is supposed to do. (very well) Receptionist on arrival, was charming and helpful. (My partner has recently had hip surgery, so we gratefully accepted the 'disability suite', offered to us.) Tea and coffee top up supplies are freely available in reception. Car parking is free and plentiful.
There is no real catering on site. You can obtain a breakfast pack from reception, but we took our own cereal and milk in a cold box.
Walking into the city centre is easy. If public transport is preferred, the bus stop into town is just across the main road outside.
We give this hotel 10 out of 10 as a 'fit for purpose' option, to travellers with a car.
