Very friendly service and also very efficient. Rooms were very good and clean. Food both in the morning and evening was good. Check out was very quick and no problems at all. It was also a quiet area so no noise so a good night sleep. All the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. For the cost of the hotel and the service some of the larger hotels could certainly learn how to provide value for money with great service. The hotel is also close for the SSEC, airport and city centre just a short taxi ride away. If you want value for money, good food, quiet location and ease of access try this hotel.

Room Tip: It is better if you have a car but taxi from centm

We arrived at 11am after picking up a relative from Glasgow airport - it was so easy to find. My husband and I were staying in one room with our 2 children aged 4 & 7 and my Mother In Law was booked into another room. we had asked for adjoining rooms previous to our day of arrival. We arrived and our family room was ready even though check in was not til 3pm so we were able to put our bags into our room. the hotel had a lovely atmosphere, it was the day of the Royal Wedding, they had fun packs for the kids and flags around reception and the wedding on the TV in the seated area. when we came back at around 5 the other room was ready. It was ideal - we opened the adjoining door and the kids were able to go between rooms without annoying any other guests. The reception team were very friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy and spacious. We decided to stay for dinner at the hotel. it was a nightmare. We ordered wine before we ordered our food - it took 25 minutes for them to bring the wine. We then waited for them to take our food order. there was a wait of around 40 minutes between starter and main meal. It ended up taking over 2 hours for a 2 course meal. They forgot the bread and butter for my mother in law's fish and chips, even though they specifically asked if she would like some. I then had to ask them to take it off the bill. Got up in the morning - we were attending a wedding so thought we would stay for a buffet breakfast to set us up for the day. I got our kids sorted then went up for my own breakfast and everything had ran out apart from beans, had to wait around 10-15 minutes for sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms and bread to be brought out. It is such a shame but it is like the chef is on a go slow. I felt the restaurant really let the hotel down.

I stayed at the Premier Inn over the weekend with a friend and it was great value only £29 for the room. The hotel is just along the road from the Underground Station and 2 stops gets you to Buchanan Street so it is in a fab location.
Rooms were clean and the staff very helpful, would definately go back when visiting Glasgow.

We booked our 2 night weekend stay well in advance and therefore only paid £58 in total. Once we had fought through the rush hour Friday traffic we parked with ease in the hotel car park – there are more than enough spaces. Checked into a room with no hassle although when we got into the room it was noisy with a cold draft and we noticed that the full length window seal appeared to be broken. We call reception and someone came after about 30 mins. They confirmed that the seal was indeed broken and we were therefore moved to another room on the same floor to cause minimal disruption to us. Our new room was fine – nice and clean with everything you would expect in a Premier Inn.

The hotel seems to be newly refurbished and all the communal areas and reception are very nicely decorated. Both evenings the staff were more than willing to order a taxi into town on our behalf even though there was a phone that we could use ourselves. The reception staffs were very helpful and friendly and really made you feel welcome. It was the Easter holidays and the hotel was fully booked on the Saturday evening, with lots of family but you couldn’t tell – the hotel was still kept spotless and there wasn’t any noise.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town was we enjoyed – sometimes a city centre hotel can mean a lot of noise and expensive car parking. Depending upon which route the taxi took on an evening the price ranged from £4-£7 (all due to the one way system) so not expensive at all.

The restaurant and bar area again looked very clean and nicely decorated but we didn’t use it. All in all a very pleasant stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.

We stayed in this hotel again on Saturday to celebrate a joint birthday with our daughter, the staff are all excellant from greeting at reception to bar service and greeting in restaurant for breakfast all very friendly and efficient.Sign outside says rooms from £29 well on both occassions we paid £85 including breakfast but thats pretty good for city centre. We had a superb meal in the" class" Indian restaurant in the Merchant city called KoolBa! but if going on a Saturday you have to book! We would definitely stay hear again when staying over in Glasgow
