Have been meaning to go for ages but it took a mate buying tickets for the panto to get me down the stairs one lunchtime. Well worth it. The panto was an absolute hoot (well, it was written by and starred Dave Anderson) - the cast of four must have been exhausted! Just the right length to have averyone screaming for more. We opted for the quiche and wine option rather than the pie and pint - West End pseuds that we are - but the pie and pint looked inviting as well. Will now definitely get mysedlf organised to see some of the upcoming attractions.

This is a novel idea and definitely worth a visit. We were in Glasgow for a long weekend and this was one of the highlights. For £10 it is good value for money and if your not a fan of pies and pints you can opt for wine and quiche instead. One thing I did find strange was that the show was sponsored by Heineken yet this beer was not included in the offer- strange but no biggie as there was a good choice of beer. The venue is located opposite the botanic gardens which is ideal if you fancy walking off the pie and pint afterwards! Overall this is something unique and well worth experiencing if you are in town. One minor quibble I would have would be the acoustics which could be a little better.

For £10 we got a funny, heart warming 45min play, a yummy pie and gravy and a pint

double check the website for shows though as they don't always have them on but if they do have a play on when you are rthere the go, go, go!

You can prebook tickets but youcan buy on the day which we did - ques start forming about 12.30 to buy tickets at the actual pub

Highly recommend this to anyone :-)

You get to see a play and have a complimentary pie and pint - what more can you ask. The play was fantastic and the surroundings had a lovely feel to them - highly recommended.
