If you are looking for something different this is the place. We went to a humourous play then a pantomine with a difference!! you feel so near the actors as the place is not too huge. the venue is in an old converted church and the pie you get along with the pint (or wine) is excellent. All in all a value for money day out. There is also evening entertainment in the bar upstairs and food too. What more could you ask for.!!

“Lovely lunch”

The Oran Mhor is a grea venue in a great location. Just across for the botanic gardens, so after the pie (tasty but small), pint and a play (brilliant sets and script) you can walk it off in the botanics

“Great Panto!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2012

This was a good laugh, with a great cast AND audience. (Having gone to a matinee of White Christmas in Pitlochry a week later where the show was wonderful, but the audience was very dull - I would say it's not a matter of age, but a matter of attitude. The age group was similar at both venues, but the attitudes were poles apart. In answer to the previous review, prices range from £8 on Wednesdays, to £10 on other days excluding Sat which is £12.50. I think the value's good on the whole.

“Excellent front restaurant, but disappointing PIE and PINT”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Pie and Pint at £12 is expensive for a small pie, self serve and uncomfortable seats. Entertainment can be very varied. but I am sure has a good atmosphere for certain venues.
